Corporate and private donations are critical to Set Free Relief. Donations like yours help ensure our communities thrive with productive citizens. Most rehabilitative programs cost money and that’s why so many people never get help. Set Free Relief is different and doesn’t charge participants to join the program. Set Free houses and provides for individuals in the program through donations such as yours. As a result, our expenses run an average of $25,000 per month and each month we hope to have enough.
When we meet our monthly goal, we’re able to feed over 9,000 guests monthly (non-program members) who otherwise have nothing to eat. We typically house close to 75 participants and expect that number to grow as it has in past years.
At this critical time Set Free is asking for even more help. The City of Phoenix has seen it necessary to issue several Building code violations. To correct these violations we are needing your Help. The two main problems at this time are going to cost somewhere in the area of $60,000 to correct. There are several other minor violations which to date have cost us $7,000. Unfortunately, every dollar we spend comes out the program budget.
The largest of the needs will require us to either spend $300,000 to have the structural facilities become closer to 2017 Building Code correct for us to house the Program Members.
Set Free is actually looking to purchase an Apartment building or Motel to house the Program Members and as the prior need will require an enormous amount of Capital, $3,000,000 to $4,000,000.
